Hi, I'm Pauline, the face behind Studio Lumin!

I am a photographer with a passion for capturing moments that really mean something. My background is quite international—I grew up in East Flanders, my family has roots in Chile and West Flanders, and I am married to my husband, Omar, from Jordan. This cultural mix certainly describes how I deal with people and situations and my enthusiasm to capture the diversity of people and their stories, something I also do in my work as a photographer.

 

Besides being a photographer, I am also an interior architect by profession, which teaches me to see the bigger picture and appreciate details. This is what I also apply in my photography: I focus on both the big moments and the small, unnoticed details that make the day special. Since 2019 I have been professionally active as an interior architect and in 2023 I decided to further deepen my passion for photography.

What I love most about my job is that I get to tell your story through my lens. Weddings are filled with authentic emotions, spontaneous moments and love, and I feel honored to play a part in capturing these memories. My goal is to create moments that are timeless, so that you can cherish your memories forever. It touches me deeply that you choose me to witness your wedding, and that you are excited to see the gallery I create for you, so that I can show you: this is what I saw, this is you – goosebumps.

I work with a limited agenda , as my main profession is interior design, but when I photograph a wedding, I do it with all the attention and passion I have. I am proud that my work is often praised for the natural, dreamy style I give it.
